Vision Statement:
James C. Isabell School envisions a future where every student becomes a lifelong learner who demonstrates Inupiaq values: including cooperation, humility, environmental stewardship, respect for Elders, and living with a good heart. Through strong community partnerships and cultural pride, our students will be ready to lead, contribute, and thrive in a changing world.

About Teller:
Teller is located in western Alaska and has a population of 229 people. It is situated in the southern half of the spit called Nook (or "Nooke") in Inupiaq, which separates Port Clarence Bay and Grantley Harbor, at the outlet of the Imuruk Basin. Teller is served by the Bering Strait School District. James C. Isabell School serves grades Pre-K through 12.
